An Evening With BLACK FLAG

Black Flag perform live in Glasgow at Slay for an evening of punk rock and hardcore.

Black Flag formed in Hermosa Beach, California, in 1976 by guitarist and primary songwriter Greg Ginn. As pioneers of American hardcore punk, the group helped define the genre's fast tempos, aggressive instrumentation, and DIY ethos during the late 1970s and 1980s. Their seminal studio albums include Damaged, My War, and Loose Nut, alongside enduring tracks such as Nervous Breakdown, Rise Above, and Six Pack.

Over decades of evolving line-ups, Greg Ginn has remained the sole constant member, steering the project through various stylistic shifts into heavy metal and avant-garde rock. On stage, the band delivers a high-energy set drawing from their extensive catalogue of underground anthems. This concert takes place at Slay, a venue in Glasgow that hosts live concerts and shows.
