Cabaret At The Kit Kat Club

A theatre production of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, presented at the Playhouse Theatre in London, listed under the theatre genre.

This is a staging of Cabaret, the musical drama set in the Kit Kat Club, a Berlin nightclub in the years before the Second World War. The title places the production within the cabaret tradition, where songs, sketches and a master of ceremonies frame the story of the club's performers and its patrons as political pressures grow around them.

The show is performed on stage in a theatre setting, with the club's world conveyed through the production's staging and music. The listing names Cabaret as the work, and the cast is linked to the production page, so details of the performers are best checked against the cast information shown there.

The production suits audiences interested in musical theatre and in stories about Weimar Germany and its decline. The Playhouse Theatre hosts a range of concerts and shows in London, and this listing places the production in its West End programme.
