Cat Power

Cat Power, the project of American singer-songwriter Chan Marshall, performs at The Roundhouse in London. The concert is part of a live programme of pop, rock and indie music.

Cat Power is the name under which American singer-songwriter Chan Marshall has worked since the early 1990s, in a style that draws on pop, alternative rock and indie. Born in 1972 in Atlanta, the artist has been active since 1992. The debut album, Dear Sir, appeared in 1995 on Matador Records, the label that has accompanied much of the work that followed.

On stage, the project is built around the songwriting and voice of its leader, with the repertoire drawn from across the catalogue. Details of the line-up for this evening are not part of the information available here, so the arrangement of the band should be checked on the day of the show.

The Roundhouse, a concert and show venue in London, hosts a wide range of live music, and the evening suits listeners who follow singer-songwriter and alternative rock work from the 1990s onwards.
