Chloe Slater

Chloe Slater is an English singer-songwriter born in 2003 in Bournemouth and based in Manchester. Writing songs that address social and political themes, Slater has been releasing music since 2023 and has put out two EPs, including Love Me Please. The debut album Riot Youth, which covers social divide, toxic internet culture, the climate crisis and the power of wealthy elites, is presented as a coming-of-age record about being young in Britain today. Slater's lyrics are described as sharp and pointed, with anthemic choruses.

Slater has built a following on TikTok and has opened for Alessi Rose, Role Model and Courtney Barnett over the past two years. Performances at Glastonbury and the BRITs Fringe showcase are part of the live history cited for this act. The songs on Riot Youth are intended to prompt conversation rather than distraction, according to the artist.

Scala is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners interested in new indie and rock songwriting with a political focus.
