Converge

Converge, the American metalcore band from Salem, play Electric Brixton in London, with Sanguisugabogg, Blackbraid and Pupil Slicer on the same bill.

Converge were formed in 1990 in Salem, Massachusetts, and are signed to Equal Vision Records. Their first album, Halo in a Haystack, appeared in 1994, and the group has since built a reputation within the metalcore scene for combining heavy, abrasive guitar work with dense, fast-shifting song structures.

The bill also features Sanguisugabogg, Blackbraid and Pupil Slicer, who are listed alongside Converge for this London date. Pupil Slicer and Blackbraid are named as supporting acts on the same night, so the evening is a multi-act heavy music programme rather than a single headline set.

Electric Brixton is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year. The night suits listeners who follow metalcore and heavy music, and those interested in hearing several bands from the genre in one evening.
