Cult of Luna

Cult of Luna, the Swedish post-metal band, play a London concert at the O2 Forum Kentish Town, with the support acts Youth Code and Bruit.

Cult of Luna is a post-metal band from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 1999. They are signed to Earache Records, and their self-titled debut album was released in 2001. The band's long, slowly building compositions draw on heavy music and atmospheric textures, and this London date forms part of the act's live programme for this period.

The bill also includes Youth Code, presented here as an artist from the music scene, and Bruit, a French quartet of post-rock and modern classical music from Toulouse. Their first album, The Machine Is Burning and Now Everyone Knows It Could Happen Again, was released in 2021. Their instrumental work sits close to the sound of the headliners, which makes the pairing coherent for listeners of heavy and experimental guitar music.

The O2 Forum Kentish Town is a London venue that hosts concerts and shows. The night suits listeners already familiar with post-metal and post-rock, as well as those wanting to hear a Swedish band's live sound in a central London setting.
