Cyrill Ibrahim - Harmonie du Soir By Candlelight

A candlelit classical piano concert by British pianist Cyrill Ibrahim, built on works by Beethoven, Debussy, Chopin, Mozart and Liszt and inspired by Baudelaire's poem Harmonie du soir.

This classical concert is presented by the British pianist Cyrill Ibrahim, who performs a programme of pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, Claude Debussy, Frédéric Chopin, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Liszt. It is staged as a candlelit piano concert, so the music is the centre of the evening.

The programme draws on Charles Baudelaire's poem Harmonie du soir and moves from light into darkness over its course. The organisers present it as a meeting of music, poetry, light and space, with the aim of leaving a lasting impression on the audience, and the themes it explores are beauty and sorrow.

World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens, the London venue hosting the performance, is a place for concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who enjoy solo piano repertoire from the Classical and Romantic periods in a candlelit setting.
