Danko Jones

Danko Jones brings hard rock and garage punk energy to Rebellion Manchester for a high-octane live show.

Danko Jones is a hard rock band originating from Toronto, Canada, active since the mid-1990s. Led by vocalist and guitarist Danko Jones alongside bassist John Calabrese and drummer Rich Knox, the trio emerged during the garage rock revival of that decade. Their sound draws heavily from 1970s hard rock, punk rock, and blues-infused heavy metal, with straightforward song structures and aggressive guitar riffs. Among their best-known studio albums are Born a Lion, Love Is Enough, and Below the Belt, while tracks such as Mountain and Way She Goes showcase their signature style.

On stage, the group performs a high-energy set consisting of fast-paced rock anthems and direct crowd interaction, driven by traditional power trio instrumentation. This performance takes place at Rebellion Manchester, a venue located in Manchester that regularly hosts live concerts and music shows. The evening suits followers of straightforward guitar-driven rock and garage punk.
