Overview
Formed in Zenica in 2003, the Bosnian ska and reggae band Dubioza Kolektiv bring their high-energy sound to Gorilla.
Dubioza Kolektiv is a Bosnian band formed in Zenica in 2003, signed to Gramofon. The group released a self-titled debut album in 2004. Musically, the ensemble combines local Balkan flavours with global influences including ska, punk, reggae, electronic music and hip-hop. The project emerged from a post-war environment lacking a music industry or spaces for cultural and political expression, using their platform to address prominent social topics.
On this visit to Manchester, the group performs live at Gorilla, a venue hosting concerts and shows. The event is presented in partnership with Gotobeat, offering listeners a chance to hear the band's distinctive fusion of genres in a live setting.
