EPICA - The Symphonic Synergy Tour

Epica, the Dutch symphonic metal band, bring their Symphonic Synergy Tour to the Royal Albert Hall in London, a concert presented under the Classical genre listing.

Epica are a symphonic metal band from Limburg in the Netherlands. The group was formed in 2002 by Mark Jansen and has been active since 2003, with Simone Simons as its singer. They are signed to Nuclear Blast, and their debut album, The Phantom Agony, was released in 2003.

This London date forms part of the Symphonic Synergy Tour, the title under which the concert is presented. The listing places it in the Classical category, reflecting the orchestral and symphonic character the band's name is associated with, and the performers on the night are Epica.

The Royal Albert Hall is a large concert venue in London that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year. The evening will suit listeners who follow symphonic metal, and anyone interested in how a metal band's sound is combined with a symphonic presentation in a major London hall.
