Health

Health is an American noise rock and industrial band from Los Angeles, formed in 2005, appearing at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London with the support act Vowws.

Health emerged from the experimental underground scene in Los Angeles and released its self-titled debut album in 2007 on Loma Vista Recordings. The band's music draws on noise rock and industrial sounds, combining abrasive textures with driving rhythms. Its catalogue has moved between harsh electronic passages and guitar-led noise, a combination that has kept the group associated with the industrial and noise rock circles of the American West Coast.

The bill also includes Vowws, the support act for the evening. The concert is aimed at listeners who follow noise rock, industrial music and experimental guitar-based bands, and who want to hear the more abrasive side of contemporary rock on a London stage. The O2 Shepherds Bush Empire is a music venue in west London that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year.

The set list and the line-up on stage are not detailed here. Those interested in Health's recordings can start with the 2007 debut album to get a sense of the band's sound before the performance.
