Marco Castello

Marco Castello is an Italian singer-songwriter born in 1993 in Syracuse, Italy. The artist sings and writes their own songs, in the tradition of the chanson d'auteur, where the lyrics and the performance of the author take centre stage. The concert is listed under pop, rock and indie, which places the project at the crossroads of song-based writing and contemporary guitar-led sounds.

Oslo Hackney hosts concerts and shows in London, and this listing brings the artist to the venue on this visit to London. The night suits listeners who follow songwriters working in the French-language and Italian song traditions, as well as those interested in the indie and rock side of contemporary singer-songwriting.

Details of the artist's records, the line-up on stage and the set are not part of the information available here, so the programme is best understood as a solo-led song performance built on Marco Castello's own repertoire.
