Overview
Megadeth and Black Label Society bring American heavy metal and hard rock to Glasgow for a concert at the OVO Hydro.
Megadeth are an American thrash metal and heavy metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1983 by Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson. Signed to Roadrunner Records, the group released their first album in 1985 and established themselves as pioneers of the thrash metal genre alongside contemporaries of that era, developing a sound defined by technical guitar work and fast tempos.
Black Label Society is an American heavy metal, groove metal, and hard rock band, formed in Los Angeles in 1998. Signed to Roadrunner Records, the project released its first album, Sonic Brew, the same year, building a catalogue characterised by heavy guitar riffs and blues-infused metal.
The concert takes place at the OVO Hydro, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in Glasgow, offering an evening for followers of heavy metal and hard rock.
