Overview
A heavy metal evening in Leeds, with the Swiss death doom band Sadness sharing the bill with Chalk Hands at the Lending Room, a venue for concerts and shows.
Sadness is a Swiss death doom metal band whose slow and heavy style merges the brutality of death metal with the funereal atmosphere and crushing weight of doom metal. Its music puts the weight of its riffs at the centre, which suits listeners drawn to the slower, sombre end of extreme metal.
Chalk Hands shares the bill with Sadness, so the evening brings two acts together in one night. The Lending Room is the Leeds venue hosting the show, a space that hosts concerts and shows in the city, and the programme is aimed at those who follow heavy music in its more sombre forms.
