Six

SIX is a musical that retells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII, presented as a sung and danced stage production at the Vaudeville Theatre in London.

SIX is a musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, which gives the stage to the six wives of Henry VIII: Aragon, Boleyn, Seymour, Cleves, Howard and Parr. Rather than recounting their history from the perspective of the court, the production has them tell their own stories of love, loss and their shared former husband, reclaiming their place in the Tudor narrative.

In the auditorium, the musical is performed on stage by the six women, backed by a live band called the Ladies in Waiting. The show is a comedic and contemporary retelling, with the emphasis on pop-influenced songs and a lively, direct address to the audience.

The production is a homegrown British hit that has also been staged on Broadway. It is performed at the Vaudeville Theatre, a London venue that hosts shows and concerts throughout the year.
