Teenage Fanclub

Teenage Fanclub, the Scottish rock band, play a London concert at Hackney Church. The group is a long-running act in pop, rock and indie music.

Teenage Fanclub are a British rock band formed in 1989 in Bellshill, Scotland. Their first album, A Catholic Education, was released in 1990 on Creation Records, the label that also home to many of the indie guitar groups of that period. The band has been active for more than three decades and is associated with melodic guitar pop built on close vocal harmonies.

For this London date, the band will be performing live at Hackney Church, a venue that hosts concerts and shows across the city. The evening suits listeners who know the band's catalogue from the early 1990s onward, as well as those discovering their melodic, guitar-led sound for the first time. Details of the line-up and the repertoire on the night are not confirmed here, so the set can be expected to draw on the band's back catalogue in general terms only.
