The Boo Radleys

The Boo Radleys, a British band formed in 1988, bring their live show to Oslo Hackney in London. The night is a rock and indie concert by a group associated with shoegaze and Britpop.

The Boo Radleys are a British shoegaze and Britpop band from Wallasey, formed in 1988. Their debut album, Ichabod and I, was released on Creation Records in 1990, and the group's work sits between the layered guitar textures of shoegaze and the melodic songwriting of Britpop. Their catalogue has made them one of the more distinctive bands to emerge from the British guitar scene of the early 1990s.

The concert is billed with The Samurai Seven as an additional act on the bill. Beyond this, the details of the line-up, the repertoire played on this visit and the format of the evening are not confirmed here, so the listing is best read as an opportunity to hear a long-established British band in a London venue.

Oslo Hackney hosts concerts and shows in London, and the night will suit listeners who follow British guitar music from the shoegaze and Britpop years. It is a straightforward rock and indie gig for those interested in the band's back catalogue and in seeing them live on this tour.
