Overview

A stage musical adapted from Nicholas Sparks's novel The Notebook, presented at the Judi Dench Theatre in London. It is a romantic story told in song.

The Notebook is a musical based on Nicholas Sparks's 1996 novel. The story frames a love affair within a conversation in a care home, where an elderly man reads aloud from a notebook to a woman who has lost much of her memory. The stage version has music and lyrics by Ingrid Michaelson and a book by Bekah Brunstetter, moving between the couple's younger years and their present.

The Judi Dench Theatre hosts concerts and shows in London. The production suits audiences who enjoy a sung love story with a clear dramatic arc, and who know the novel or the 2004 film adaptation.
