This Is the Kit

This Is the Kit is a British musical group, presenting this concert at The Roundhouse in London. The listing covers a live appearance by the band on this visit to the capital.

This Is the Kit is a British group whose songs sit in the folk and indie tradition, built around intimate vocal melodies and acoustic and electric textures.

The project is led by a songwriter who writes the material and sings, and the band's sound draws on the English folk-rock lineage of songwriters who favour clear storytelling over spectacle.

The current line-up and the exact repertoire for this London appearance are not something this listing confirms, so the set itself is best approached as an evening of the band's songwriting performed live.

The Roundhouse is a former railway engine shed in Camden, converted into a venue for concerts, theatre and other live performance.

Its history as a large, open industrial building shapes how it is used today, and it suits listeners who want to hear a band in a performance space rather than a small club room.
