Overview
A stand-up comedy night held at JK Comedy Club Covent Garden, a London venue that also hosts concerts and shows. Each evening is hosted and built around a line-up of professional comedians.
Tuesday Night Comedy is a stand-up evening in which a host introduces a changing line-up of professional comedians, who perform one after another on stage. The format is a single night of live comedy rather than a play or a scripted production, so the programme of each evening depends on the comedians booked for it.
Past editions have included performers who have appeared on Taskmaster, on Live at the Apollo and on Netflix, which gives a sense of the level of the bill. The line-up can be altered at short notice, so the names on any particular night may differ from those seen previously.
Seating is unreserved, so arriving early is the practical way to secure a good place in the auditorium. The event suits anyone looking for an evening of live stand-up in central London, and the club's Covent Garden base makes it easy to reach from the West End.
