Overview
Von Burl is an act performing blues, country and folk, appearing in London at Altar, a venue that hosts concerts in the city.
Blues, country and folk are the three styles that define Von Burl's music. Blues grew out of African American work songs and field hollers in the Southern United States, country took shape from Southern and Appalachian string-band traditions, and folk draws on songs passed down orally. These roots styles share storytelling lyrics and simple song structures, and they form the basis of this act's music.
The concert takes place at Altar, a London venue that hosts concerts in the city. The evening suits listeners who follow roots music and want to hear blues, country and folk performed live by Von Burl.
