Boston Murder Mystery: Death in the Shadows

A murder mystery game played on your phone across 12 locations in Boston, set in North Square. Players question suspects and follow clues after a travel blogger is found dead during a ghost tour.

This outing is an interactive murder mystery in which the story unfolds across Boston. The case centers on Bella Wanderlust, a travel blogger found dead during a ghost tour. You take on the role of the city's best detective, questioning suspects, deciphering hidden messages and following clues to identify the killer before another death occurs.

The game runs entirely on a smartphone, so no extra equipment is needed. Clues are spread over 12 locations, and you move between them as the investigation develops. Because the story is told through your phone, the game can be played at your own pace, with the solution depending on the evidence you gather and the answers you piece together.

The game is set in North Square, a Boston venue that hosts concerts and shows. It suits visitors passing through the city who want a self-paced activity, as well as groups of friends who enjoy puzzles and solving a mystery together.
