Closed Eco-system Terrarium

A 60-minute hands-on workshop in San Mateo where participants build a closed terrarium, a small plant ecosystem sealed inside a glass jar. The session is guided by an expert from Luludi Living Art.

In this workshop, participants assemble their own mini-ecosystem inside a glass jar and learn how a closed terrarium is put together. An expert from Luludi Living Art leads the session, and mood boards offer visual inspiration for the design.

Every material is provided, including the plants and soil, so nothing needs to be brought. No previous experience is required, and the session runs 60 minutes. A closed terrarium is a sealed glass container in which the plants and soil keep their own moisture, which is the principle participants explore while they build.

Because no experience is needed, the workshop suits beginners and anyone curious about plants who wants a hands-on project in a single hour. It takes place at Luludi Living Art in San Mateo.
