A live concert at Epiphany Center for the Arts in Chicago, blending a Brazilian funk and jazz concept with R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae. It is presented under the title Funkeria.

Funkeria: A Brazilian Funk Jazz Show is a concert that blends R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, with a Brazilian funk and jazz concept at its center. Its sound rests on the groove of funk and the harmonic language of jazz, drawing on soul, gospel and reggae traditions.

The show takes place at Epiphany Center for the Arts, in its Sanctuary space, a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows. It suits audiences interested in Brazilian rhythms and in the meeting point between jazz and funk, presented as a live program.

Funkeria is a good fit for listeners who follow crossovers between soul, funk and Brazilian music, and for those curious about how jazz harmony and funk rhythm work together on stage.
