Gustavo Santaolalla Ronroco North America Tour 2027

Gustavo Santaolalla's Ronroco North America Tour 2027 stops in Chicago at Thalia Hall, a venue for concerts and shows. The tour centers on the ronroco, an Andean stringed instrument.

Gustavo Santaolalla is an Argentine guitarist and composer whose work runs between Latin American folk instruments and film scoring. He won Academy Awards for Best Original Score for Brokeback Mountain and for Babel. The ronroco, the instrument named in this tour's title, belongs to the charango family of small Andean stringed instruments.

This North American tour brings Santaolalla's ronroco-based project to Chicago, a stop for listeners who follow his instrumental and cinematic music. The project sits in pop, rock and indie territory, so the program may appeal to fans of guitar-driven songwriting as well as film music.

Thalia Hall is a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows, and this performance is one of its listed nights for the tour's visit to the city.
