Handmade Ricotta Gnocchi in Boston

A hands-on cooking workshop in Boston where participants make ricotta gnocchi from scratch and finish them with brown butter, sage, guanciale and Parmesan. It is led by Chef Oli at Democracy Brewing.

This class focuses on ricotta gnocchi, a lighter and more delicate version of the classic dish. Guided by Chef Oli, participants go through each stage, from forming the dough to plating, and the chef explains the techniques and background behind the dish along the way. The session lasts two hours.

Working alongside the people in their booking party, each participant builds a plate of gnocchi that is seared and dressed in a brown butter and sage sauce, then topped with crisp guanciale and freshly grated Parmesan. Drinks are available to purchase at the venue and are not included in the activity.
