Overview

A stage musical presented at The Club New York, built as a parody of the hockey romance Heated Rivalry. The production is an unauthorized take on the story, not an official adaptation.

Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody is a stage musical built as a parody of Heated Rivalry, the hockey romance series adapted from Rachel Reid's novels. The title makes clear that the production was created without authorization from the original rights holders, so it is an independent reworking of the story rather than an official adaptation.

The Club New York hosts concerts and shows in New York, and this musical is presented there. Its genre is musicals, so the evening is a sung and staged parody rather than a concert. It suits audiences who already know the source romance and want to see it reworked in song.
