Holywatr is a pop, rock and indie act, and this stop is part of the Deo Gratias Tour, which brings the band to Washington, D.C. The bill also names mercury, which shares the evening with Holywatr. Washington is one stop on this tour.

The 9:30 Club is a long-running music venue on U Street in Northwest Washington, and its calendar includes concerts and shows. This evening suits listeners who follow pop, rock and indie music and want to hear a current tour in the city, with both acts on one night. For someone choosing between outings in the city, the pairing of these two acts defines the program.
