Lesley Ann Warren: In My Own Little Corner

An evening of song with Lesley Ann Warren, an American actress and singer, at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C. The program is titled In My Own Little Corner.

Lesley Ann Warren is an American actress and singer whose career spans television, film and the stage. She gained wide attention as the title character in the 1965 CBS television production of Cinderella, the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. Her film work includes Blake Edwards's Victor/Victoria (1982), where she played Norma Cassay, and the comedy Clue (1985), in which she played Miss Scarlet.

The program's title comes from "In My Own Little Corner," a song from that same Cinderella score, which Warren performed in the 1965 broadcast. The evening centers on her musical theater background and her long screen career.

The Lincoln Theatre is a historic venue on U Street NW, opened in 1922, that hosts concerts and shows in Washington. The evening will appeal to listeners interested in musical theater and in the work of performers who have moved between the stage and the screen.
