LIVE 105 Presents: Gorillaz - The Mountain Tour

LIVE 105 presents Gorillaz on The Mountain Tour at Oakland Arena, with British singer and rapper Little Simz and the American rap group Deltron 3030 also on the bill.

Gorillaz is a British band formed in 1998 by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, built around animated characters who serve as the group's public faces. Its self-titled debut album, released in 2001, included the singles "Clint Eastwood" and "19-2000". Demon Days (2005), with "Feel Good Inc." and "Dare", and Plastic Beach (2010) are among its best-known records, mixing alternative rock, hip hop, dub and electronic pop.

Little Simz is a British singer, rapper and actress who has been active since 2010 and released the debut album A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons in 2015. Deltron 3030 is an American rap group whose self-titled debut album came out in 2000, built around a futuristic concept.

Oakland Arena hosts concerts and shows in Oakland, across the bay from San Francisco. The bill suits listeners who follow genre-crossing pop, rock, indie and hip hop, and this stop is part of the group's current tour.
