Underoath

Underoath headlines this San Francisco bill at The Masonic, alongside August Burns Red, Atreyu and As Cities Burn. The show brings together several heavy rock and metalcore acts from the American scene.

Underoath is an American band formed in Florida in 1997, playing hard rock, metalcore and post-hardcore. The group is signed to Roadrunner Records, and its first album, Act of Depression, came out in 1999.

The bill also includes August Burns Red, an American metalcore band formed in 2003 whose debut album, Thrill Seeker, appeared in 2005. The band has been associated with Solid State Records. Atreyu, an American metalcore, alternative metal and hard rock group from Orange County, formed in 1998 and signed to Victory Records. As Cities Burn, an American post-hardcore and Christian rock band formed in Mandeville in 2002, is signed to Solid State Records and made its debut with Son, I Loved You at Your Darkest.

The Masonic hosts concerts and shows in San Francisco. This evening suits listeners who follow guitar-driven metalcore, post-hardcore and hard rock, with four acts from the same heavy scene sharing one program.
