New Orleans Demonstration Cooking Class with Meal

Join a cooking class at the New Orleans School of Cooking in the French Quarter to learn the fundamentals of local cuisine.

Participate in an instructional session held inside a historic molasses warehouse dating back to the early nineteenth century. Professional chefs demonstrate how to prepare traditional regional dishes including gumbo, jambalaya, and pralines.

Following the presentation, participants sit down to eat the prepared food. The meal includes complimentary iced tea, coffee, and beer, and attendees receive printed copies of the recipes to take home.

This activity is suitable for visitors interested in regional food culture and culinary traditions who want to learn classic recipes in a historic venue.
