Rico McFarland Blues Band/Sheryl Youngblood Blues Band

A Chicago bill pairing two blues projects, the Rico McFarland Blues Band and the Sheryl Youngblood Blues Band, with country and folk also part of the genre. It takes place at Kingston Mines, a blues club in Chicago.

The evening brings together two separate blues projects, each under its own name: the Rico McFarland Blues Band and the Sheryl Youngblood Blues Band. The bill's musical identity is rooted in the blues, with country and folk elements also part of the genre, so the material draws on both electric blues traditions and roots-based songwriting.

Kingston Mines is a long-running blues club in Chicago, presented as the Kingston Mines - Chicago Blues Center, and it hosts concerts and shows. Its programming places the room within the city's blues scene, which makes the club a natural setting for listeners who follow Chicago blues.

The night suits anyone interested in blues and roots music who wants to hear two bands from the same genre on one bill, with each project presenting its own material.
