Riot! at the Disco: Emo + Pop Punk Nite

A punk and rock night at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles, titled Riot! at the Disco: Emo + Pop Punk Nite, with Orlove on the bill.

Riot! at the Disco: Emo + Pop Punk Nite is a punk and rock night in Los Angeles built around two styles. Emo developed out of 1980s American hardcore punk, with Washington, D.C. bands among its early sources. Pop punk pairs fast punk rhythms with melodic hooks and sung choruses. Orlove is the artist on the bill.

The Moroccan Lounge is a Los Angeles venue that hosts concerts and shows. This night places its program on the emo and pop punk scene, so it suits listeners who want a themed rock evening focused on guitar-driven music.

Both styles grew from the same punk roots, which makes the bill a natural pairing for fans of melodic, high-energy rock. The night is organized around that shared sound rather than a mix of genres.
