Saosin: 20 Years of Self-Titled

A show at House of Blues Chicago titled Saosin: 20 Years of Self-Titled, with Saosin, Silent Planet, Like Moths To Flames and Save Us on the bill. The evening is framed around the anniversary of Saosin's self-titled debut.

Saosin is an American emo, screamo and indie rock band formed in Newport Beach in 2003. The band was signed to Capitol Records, and its first album, titled Saosin, came out in 2006. This show is framed as a celebration of twenty years since that self-titled record, so the album is the reference point for the night.

Silent Planet is an American progressive metalcore band formed in 2009. Its debut album, The Night God Slept, was released on Solid State Records in 2014. Like Moths To Flames and Save Us also appear on the bill, pairing a long-running emo name with a progressive metalcore act for listeners who follow both scenes.

House of Blues Chicago hosts concerts and shows in Chicago. The program suits fans of the 2000s emo and screamo lineage that Saosin came out of, as well as those interested in the heavier, more technical sound of Silent Planet.
