Tyla — The A*pop World Tour

Tyla brings The A*pop World Tour to the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, with the South African singer-songwriter's contemporary R&B, amapiano and pop. It is a concert for listeners who follow those styles.

Tyla is a South African singer-songwriter born in 2002 in Edenvale, active since 2019 in contemporary R&B, amapiano and pop. The debut album, TYLA, was released in 2024 on Epic Records.

The show is part of The A*pop World Tour. Amapiano, a style that emerged in South Africa and draws on house music and log-drum grooves, is one of the three strands in Tyla's work, alongside contemporary R&B and pop.

Aragon Ballroom hosts concerts and shows in Chicago. The evening suits listeners drawn to electronic, dance-driven pop and contemporary R&B, and to the South African sound that runs through Tyla's music.
