This is a hands-on sushi-making class in which participants learn the basics of preparing sushi at home. Over a session of two hours, they cook sushi rice, learn how to select sushi-grade fish, and pair ingredients for their rolls.
Each participant makes three rolls: a California roll, a salmon roll and a veggie hand roll. The veggie hand roll is built from avocado, mango, cucumber, scallion and nori, the main vegetable ingredients used in the class.
