The Escape Game NYC: 60-Minute Adventures in Midtown Manhattan

The Escape Game NYC is a team puzzle adventure in Midtown Manhattan, where small groups work through a series of rooms to complete a mission within 60 minutes.

Each outing is a themed escape game: players follow clues, solve puzzles and move through several rooms together to finish their mission before time runs out. The company offers seven different themes, the most demanding of which is Prison Break, and the games are presented as suitable for families.

Groups can take part with up to 8 players in most games, while Playground accommodates up to 12. Teamwork is central to the format, so the outing suits groups of friends, families and visitors who want an active session rather than a seated show. The venue is on Madison Avenue, a few blocks from Times Square and the Empire State Building, in the historic Lefcourt Colonial Building.

After the game, the source suggests a walk through nearby Bryant Park, a pleasant way to extend an afternoon or evening in the area.
