The Ramen Experience: From Broth to Bowl - Chicago

A hands-on cooking workshop at Sip & Savor in Hyde Park, where participants make a chicken miso ramen from scratch, from the broth and hand-rolled noodles to the finished bowl.

This workshop walks participants through building a bowl of ramen step by step. The session opens with knife work, preparing fresh vegetables and the traditional toppings served with the dish. From there, participants learn to build a chicken miso broth and balance its flavors, then roll their own noodles by hand to reach a chewy texture.

The format is a guided group session, so participants work alongside one another and assemble their own finished bowls. It is designed for beginners as well as food lovers, and it suits people coming alone as well as those attending with friends.

The workshop takes place at Sip & Savor on 53rd Street in Hyde Park. Beverages are sold at the venue, and outside drinks are not allowed.
