The Rocky Horror Picture Show Spooktacular Tour with Barry Bostwick

A film concert built around The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the 1975 musical film, presented on the Spooktacular Tour with Barry Bostwick at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 musical film directed by Jim Sharman and adapted from The Rocky Horror Show, the stage musical that Richard O'Brien wrote and first staged in London in 1973. Its score, including the songs "Time Warp" and "Sweet Transvestite," draws on 1950s rock and roll and on the conventions of science-fiction and horror films, and the film became a long-running cult favorite.

Barry Bostwick played Brad Majors in the 1975 film, one of the two leads in the story of a young couple whose car breaks down during a storm and who end up at the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. This tour carries Bostwick's name in its title, linking the program to that original film.

The Wiltern is a Los Angeles venue that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits audiences who know the film and its songs and want to see them performed in a live setting.
