Violent Femmes: 45 Years of Violent Femmes Tour

Violent Femmes bring their 45 Years of Violent Femmes tour to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. The American band's catalog spans folk, punk and rock, and this stop is part of the tour.

Violent Femmes is an American band formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1980 by Gordon Gano, Brian Ritchie and Victor DeLorenzo. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1983 on Slash Records, includes the songs "Blister in the Sun" and "Add It Up," and it remains the record most associated with the group. Their music blends acoustic folk, punk energy and alternative rock, which places them in the pop, rock and indie category.

The tour title marks 45 years since the band was formed, and this tour brings the group's catalog from across its career to the stage. The band has continued to release and perform for decades, combining its early acoustic approach with later rock arrangements.

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas hosts concerts and shows in Las Vegas, and this performance takes place there as part of the tour's stop in the city.
