A Night with Xscape

A Night with Xscape is an R&B concert at The Chicago Theatre in Chicago, headlined by the vocal group Xscape and joined by Plies, Pleasure P, Case and Ann Marie.

Xscape is an American R&B vocal group formed in Atlanta in 1993. Its debut album, Hummin'Comin'at 'Cha, released that year, produced the singles "Who Can I Run To" and "Just Kickin'It." The group's music spans R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, and the program draws on that range.

Plies, a rapper, shares the bill with the R&B singers Pleasure P and Case, and Ann Marie also performs on the program. Together the lineup pairs a 1990s girl group with artists from later R&B and hip-hop.

The Chicago Theatre hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, and this evening is one of its concerts. The night suits listeners who follow R&B and soul and want to hear a 1990s vocal group alongside newer artists from the same scene.
