Alex's Bar Karaoke

A karaoke night at Alex's Bar in Long Beach, a venue for concerts and shows, where singers perform over recorded backing tracks.

Alex's Bar Karaoke is a karaoke night at Alex's Bar in Long Beach, a venue that hosts concerts and shows. In karaoke, singers perform songs over recorded backing tracks, so the evening is built around performers taking the microphone rather than around a single band.

The format suits anyone who wants to sing in front of an audience, as well as those who prefer to listen. Since the night features many singers rather than one headline act, it is built around a shifting mix of voices.

Alex's Bar presents live music and performance programming in Long Beach, and this karaoke night adds a participatory option to its calendar.
