An Intimate Evening with SANTANA Greatest Hits

A greatest hits concert built around the songs of Santana, the San Francisco rock band led by Carlos Santana, staged at House of Blues Las Vegas. The evening draws on the band's best-known recordings.

Santana is a rock band formed in San Francisco in 1966 and led by guitarist Carlos Santana. Its music blends rock with Latin percussion, blues and jazz-inflected improvisation. The band's performance at Woodstock in 1969 and its 1970 album Abraxas established its early following. Abraxas includes "Oye Como Va," a composition by Tito Puente, and a version of "Black Magic Woman," a song first recorded by Fleetwood Mac.

The 1999 album Supernatural produced "Smooth," one of the band's most widely heard songs, and it brought the band's catalog to a broader pop audience.

This show, An Intimate Evening with SANTANA Greatest Hits, is built around the band's best-known songs, so it suits listeners who know the catalog from these albums. It takes place at House of Blues Las Vegas, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in Las Vegas.
