W.A.S.P. — 1984 To Headless

A double bill pairing W.A.S.P., the American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, with KK's Priest, the project led by former Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing, at House of Blues Las Vegas.

W.A.S.P. formed in Los Angeles in 1982 and plays hard rock and heavy metal, with Blackie Lawless as the group's founding vocalist. Its self-titled debut from 1984 introduced "I Wanna Be Somebody," and the 1992 concept album The Crimson Idol includes "Blind in Texas." The title of this show, 1984 To Headless, refers to the band's catalog from that debut through The Headless Children (1989).

KK's Priest is led by KK Downing, a founding guitarist of Judas Priest, and is built around the Judas Priest repertoire. The bill therefore pairs two acts rooted in the same early-1980s heavy metal scene.

House of Blues Las Vegas, located at Mandalay Bay, hosts concerts and shows in Las Vegas. The bill suits listeners who follow classic heavy metal and the Judas Priest lineage, as well as fans of W.A.S.P.'s 1980s albums.
