Andrew Sa

Andrew Sa is booked for a blues, country and folk concert at Thalia Hall in Chicago, suited to listeners who follow American roots music.

Andrew Sa works in blues, country and folk, three styles that share roots in American vernacular song. Blues contributes its twelve-bar forms and emotional directness, country adds narrative lyrics and a long tradition of string-based storytelling, and folk brings melody-driven songs built on simple instrumentation. The project's sound sits where these genres meet, so the music connects to each of them without belonging strictly to one.

Thalia Hall is a venue in Chicago that hosts concerts and shows, and this evening places Andrew Sa on its program. The concert suits anyone looking for roots-oriented live music in the city, whether the draw is the blues, the country or the folk side of the act. It is a straightforward choice for an evening centered on acoustic-leaning American song.
