Anime Rave San Francisco

Anime Rave San Francisco is an electronic music night whose title points to an anime-themed rave, a dance party built around continuous electronic music. The event is presented under its own name, and the musical program follows the electronic dance format that the title suggests.

Electronic music covers a broad family of styles built on synthesizers, drum machines and samplers. At a rave, it is played for dancing rather than for seated listening, so the night suits people who want to dance to electronic music and who follow anime culture, the theme the title makes clear.

Temple SF, the venue, is a San Francisco space that hosts concerts and shows, so the night takes place in a room programmed for live performance across music and theater. For anyone planning an outing in the city around electronic music, it offers a dance-oriented evening with an anime theme.
