Girlcode

A concert by Girlcode at Temple SF in San Francisco, drawing on R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae for a program that brings these traditions together.

Girlcode is a musical act working across R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae. Its sound draws on the vocal phrasing of soul and R&B, the rhythmic drive of funk, the spiritual weight of gospel and the offbeat pulse of reggae, so these five traditions define the project's identity rather than a single style.

This concert takes place at Temple SF, a San Francisco venue that hosts concerts and shows. It suits listeners who follow contemporary soul and R&B and want to hear how these genres meet in one live program, with reggae and gospel roots alongside funk grooves. Fans of Black American and Caribbean musical traditions will find the connections between these styles at the center of the evening.
