Atlanta Rhythm Section

Atlanta Rhythm Section performs alongside Firefall and Pure Prairie League in Staten Island for an evening of American rock.

Atlanta Rhythm Section emerged from the Southern rock movement of the 1970s, originating in studio musicianship in Georgia. The project developed a distinct style blending pop melodies with southern guitar arrangements, releasing records that established a foundation for the regional rock sound of the era.

Firefall and Pure Prairie League share the bill, bringing their respective catalogues of country-influenced rock and vocal harmonies developed during the same decades of American music history. Firefall contributed radio singles featuring acoustic and electric instrumentation, while Pure Prairie League built its repertoire around guitar-driven melodies and vocal blend.

St. George Theatre in Staten Island hosts the concert. The venue presents touring musical acts and stage productions within its historic auditorium.
