Bonobo

Bonobo, a British producer, composer and DJ working across electronic music, world music and trip hop, performs at Brooklyn Paramount in Brooklyn, with Anish Kumar on the bill.

Bonobo is a British electronic music, world music and trip hop producer, composer and DJ, born in 1976 in Leeds and active since 1999. Signed to Ninja Tune, the project released "Animal Magic" in 2000 and has since built a catalog of studio albums, including the recent "Distance in Static."

This concert takes place at Brooklyn Paramount, a Brooklyn venue that hosts concerts and shows. The show follows the release of "Distance in Static" and is described as drawing on deep, cinematic electronica, with emotional depth and detailed sound design at its core. Anish Kumar completes the lineup, so the evening pairs the electronic work of Bonobo with a second performer. It suits listeners who follow electronic and downtempo music.
